With the Sonarworks SoundID Upgrade, you can take a step up from the SoundID Headphone edition to the full version, complete with speaker calibration. Use the included Sonarworks Measure app to pilot the metering process with the help of a measuring microphone (not included), and once the assessment is complete, you can load up the resulting profile in SoundID which can then generate a curve that perfectly neutralises the otherwise hindering features of your studio space and monitors. A new addition to SoundID is the Translation Check function which uses a collection of curves generated for popular speakers and headphones to give you a clear impression of what your mix will sound like outside the studio, so there's no need to bother with exporting the track and checking it on the car stereo.
